On October, 2, concluding the archpastoral visit to the northern parishes, Archbishop Anthony of Krasnoyarsk and Yeniseisk and a missionary group of the diocesan clergy arrived at Chelyuskin Cape to erect the memorial cross. On the occasion of the forthcoming consecration ceremony, archpriest Mikhail Grenadyorov, Taimyr church district's rural dean, accompanied by archdeacon Apollinary (Obukhov) visited the newly constructed Holy Trinity church in Talnakh district, Norilsk, on September 20, Forefeast of the Nativity of the Theotokos. The new church in Talnakh will be consecrated by Archbishop Anthony of Krasnoyarsk and Yeniseisk in November 2009, reports Taimyr deanery's press service.

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Anthony of Krasnoyarsk and Yeniseisk, churches of the Krasnoyarsk diocese destroyed and abandoned in the Soviet times are now reconstructed over the whole diocesan territory. The construction work has recently began in the church of St Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia in Bolshoy Kemchug village, Krasnoyarsk territory, reports Achinsk Kazansky Cathedral's website.
