His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill has led the Divine Liturgy in the Dormition Patriarchal Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin today, 24 May, memory of St Equal-to-the-Apostles Cyrill and Methodious, Teachers of the Slavs. With the liturgy completed, His Holiness awarded the Order of St Alexy, Metropolitan of Moscow, 2nd Degree, to Archbishop Anthony of Krasnoyarsk and Yeniseisk for his zealous work to the glory of the Holy Church and on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of his archbishopric chirotony.

Archbishop Anthony of Krasnoyarsk and Yeniseisk took part in the solemn meeting in Minsk devoted to the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia celebrated on the Meeting of the Lord. The Krasnoyarsk diocese's archbishop arrived in Minsk by invitation of doctor Srechko Dzhukich, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Serbia in Belarus. On 19 April, the eve of the Entrance of the Lord into Jerusalem, Palm Sunday, Archbishop of Krasnoyarsk and Yeniseisk Anthony led the All-Night Vigil in the Holy Virgin Protection Cathedral. At the Vigil, prayers imagine that they welcome the Lord, the Conqueror of hell and death, holding pussy willows, flowers and lighted candles in their hands. The solemn mayor inauguration ceremony took place in the Krasnoyarsk administration. Petr Ivanovich Pimashkov administered an oath of Krasnoyarsk mayor for the forth time. The ceremony numbered more than 200 guests, including Alexander Khloponin, Territory’s governor, territory and city’s high rank persons, deputies of the Legislative Assembly and the Municipal Council and honourable people of Krasnoyarsk. Mitred archpriest Feodor Vasilyev, senior priest of the Three Saints Church and St Nicholas Church, gave hearty congratulations, blessing for future work for the city’s benefit and wishes of good health and God’s mercy to the mayor on behalf of Archbishop of Krasnoyarsk and Yeniseisk Anthony, who was on duty journey. Yesterday, 12 February, Synaxis of the Three Hierarchs: St. Basil the Great, St. Gregory the Theologian, and St. John Chrysostom, His Eminence Archbishop Anthony led Divine Liturgy of the Patron saints’ feast in the Three Saints Church, Bazaikha. In his aprchpastoral speech, His Eminence told the congregation about three great saints’ work to the glory of the Orthodox Church. Archbishop congratulated people present with the church feast and thanked mitred archpriest Feodor Vasilyev, church’s father senior priest, for his diligence. Fr. Feodor is also the rural dean of Chuvash National-Cultural Autonomy in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, members of which dressed in national costumes gave bread-and-salt welcome to Archbishop Anthony.
